For the second year, the Holliston Lions Club will be sponsoring a golf tournament to be held at Pinecrest Golf Club on Friday, October 6th.. As we do with many of our fundraising events, we are raising money not only for our general Lions charities but for a cause. This year, we have teamed up with Dana Farber, Milford and the Jimmy Fund who will be a major beneficiary of this year’s tournament.

Ways You Can Help

The American Cancer Society estimates that 42,880 residents in Massachusetts will be diagnosed with some form of cancer this year. Chances are, you know someone who has had their life disrupted by a diagnosis of cancer. This year, you can help us fight back in some of the following ways:

• Register to Golf — whether you are a seasoned golfer or a beginner, it makes no difference! The cost to golf includes cart, greens fees, practice, goodie bag, and lunch! $125 per golfer. Grab a friend or create a team! ALL AGES AND ABILITIES WELCOME!

• Join us for lunch — if you don’t golf and you want to support our efforts, please consider joining us for lunch. $35 per person buffet lunch, cash bar. Raffles and awards!

• Donations — if you donate $100 to the Jimmy Fund, or to the Holliston Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament, we’ll make a sign recognizing your donation in honor/or memoriam of a friend or loved one. All donations of $25 or more will be scrolled at the Golf Club during lunch.  We’re also looking for raffle prizes and items for the goodie bags if you can help.
